Dropped a coin

I keep a stash of coins right next to my hand brake and today I accidentally droped a coin into the hand brake. Nissan's degisn of the hand brake is so poor, looks co cheap and there are holes. My question is is it okay to drop a coin or should I look underneath my seats for the coin? If I find it, I may keep it as my lucky coin.

nah, you should be ok. If you wanna search for your "lucky coin" go ahead learn how to take your car apart and put it back.

Make sure there's no coins dropped in the seat track. If you have power seat and there's coin in the track, you might burn your seat motor if you try to move it and the coin(s) get in the way.

My e-brake loves coins, i have dropped numerous coins in there, and it esp happens when my ebrake is pulled up. Your right about it being designed cheaply and does look poor, but what ya gonna do. I wouldnt worry about takin it apart to find the coin, unless you really have nothing to do and your bored.
