Caliper Question

My local and trusty Midas shop (not) said that the reason i have heat cracks is because my calipers are screwd and i need new ones...but can't i get heat cracks because my rotors are already warped and my pads are bad anyway. any help would be appreciated because i am putting on my brembos and axxis pads wednesday and need to know if i have to get new calipers.

If any of your calipers are frozen, you will find out when you push the pistons back for the new pads. A final check when you are all done and ready to put the car back on the ground, is to spin the wheels by hand and see if anything is dragging.
