On the MSN Autos it states that 2001 AE has 5 spd Automatic (not 4 spd like i was thinking) is that corect? http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/sp...IP&tab=2&sub=1

look on your shifter.. what ever number D is + 1 for the OD.. I have a 2K and my shifter goes 1,2 D with OD, so I have a 4th gear as OD

The Maxima did not come with a 5 spd automatic transmission until the 6th gen.
