First to tell u,
just say no to stillen, there are countless guys here who say they are a shameful ripoff, with minimal to any noticable gains.
Hotshot or cattman. Cattman is ideal.
The cams from stillen, just say no. SHop at south west autoworks, or z1 auto.
The cams should run you anywhere from 900-1500 bux depending onw hat u want to do. We can run almost any Z stuff as for as engine internals.

www.southwestautoworks.com
http://www.z1auto.com/submodel.asp?m...50z&cat=engine
here are 2 nice resources. I directed u to the second page on z1 for internals.
The first site is everything else that is only particular to our maximas. (headers etc).

cam ? just one cam ? its not a pushrod V8 that uses one camshaft. Stillen cams are probably good for like.... nothing, they would probably seriously damage the engine internally if they are as highly engineered as their superb headers. Save yourself the $$$, pain, time wasted... get a set of Cattman headers and set of Tomei camshafts. Good luck trying to find someone skilled enough to embark camshaft repleacement on a VQ.
Welcome to the ORG. Get a RSB for your car first and then do what BlackBirdVQ recomends. IF u looking for someone do the install pm the people near u to help u install it or ask around for a good shop

In regards to the two in the link above, how does each compare? I was going to go with the progress because of the price, but how would you rate it?
Also, how hard is it to install?
I've had a Stillen RSB on my Maxima, and some idiot ripped it off with a tow truck while illegaly towing my car - using the swaybar as the attachement point for his chain ! I got the towing company to buy me a new one and totaly reimburse me for MY labor to put it on- I'm a mechanic. I have Addco rear sway bar, which is pretty much same as the Progress, and I can't tell a difference in the handling Addco vs Stillen, price was little bit more than 1/2 savings over the Stillen. I got 400 bux out of the towing company for messn up my car and bending my Stillen sway bar- this was like 3 years ago.
Jim Wolf cams are not worth the labor involved for lousy 12WHP. Unless you need that very last 12WHP.... I would go with bigger Tomei cams. 350Z cams are eassy to install vs Maxima, where space is at a premium for timing chain work.
