hi, i joined this forum a while back but this is the first time i actually used it. Like a few weeks back, i was stupid enough to buy the CAI off ebay for my '03 maxima and i got it. Im scared on installing it incase it screws up my car. if i could have any input that would be great!

I haven't got around to doing my engine yet, so my advice might suck. The MAF sensor blows quickly by the looks of it, I would get a spare just in case.

anyone agrees or just go fot it and hope for the best?

 

The link is broken. As long as it was made for the max (2002-2003) then you should be fine. There are only a few companies that make intakes for us, so be careful with the brand, etc.

Installation is easy and if the intake is reputable then you should have some basic instructions. I wouldnt worry about the MAF right away, just make sure the product is actually for your car.
