why the locked threads????

Why are all of the stolen threads locked? I realize the subject has been covered several times, but what is the reason for locking them? There may be someone who wants to read about that.

if you wanna read about it....use sources that provide the NEWS.

http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&lr...st+stolen+cars

http://www.iihs.org/news_releases/2004/pr101904.htm

for creating a post to ask why 20 other posts with the same subject were locked when the reason is pretty obvious

They are locked because they serve NO FREAKIN PURPOSE, unless the poster is trying to convince all of us that we should sell our maximas (not likely) so they don't get stolen.....

I'm not saying I want to read them, I just feel it is a type of censorship.

The stolen HID threads are useless for the simple fact that it is common knowledge. If you've been on this forum at all in the last 12-18 months, you know that people rip off the HID's and list them on eBay. Why waste bandwidth posting about something every other day that we all already know about?

I think he's sayin he wants to be able to discuss it.... but even then I'm not sure I see why that is necessary.... I don't think we need to get into censorship issues here either...

It's not censorship, it's an .org policy that has been established by the administrator and the mods. Please check this post which is listed in the Stickies in the General Discussion Forum.

By the way, rather than post your grievances on the forum about how this place is managed, PM a moderator instead. We get enough drama on these forums and we don't need this on top of all that.
