POS projector help

Well I recently bought a new max and the only thing wrong with it is it has those crappy ebay projectors. I plan to go back to OEM as soon as I have the money. Unfortunately the headlights are not wired correctly. I have one high beam and low beam on one side and a dim low beam on the other and my dash is really dim and my taillights are really dim. I know it is the headlights because if I unhook them the tailights are bright and the dash lights up again. I really dont know how the stock lights were wired so I have no point to work from. If someone could post a writeup or install for the projectors or just the stock wiring diagram I would greatly appreciate it.

WOW why would someone with a 2003 with HIDs switch them to that crap? I know why, so he could sell the HIDs seperately and put the cheapo projectors in the car.

My suggestion: go back to the seller and demand he put the HIDs back in or get your money back. You got ripped off....

I think more importantly, regardless of the HID/projector issue, is why didn't ya check all the lights (I hope ya checked most other things to see if they worked right) before you bought the car?

Anyways, that's all done now... I'm not sure if the guy will give ya the HIDs back... seems like a long shot... you might wanna start looking around the Classifieds here or on eBay to see if you can find some for cheap...

Wouldn't it be funny if ya actually ended up buying the very same HIDs he took off the car? Okay.. bad joke... sorry... I hope everything works out for ya...

Stock 2003/2002 HID, complete assembly, left and right?

Apparently the originals were stolen and I did find a piece of a head light bracket so I tend to believe that and I highly doubt a dealer would go through the trouble. Yes I checked everything before I drove it. They worked fine until the car got washed then they went to hell. They are wired really half-assed. I got a really good deal on the car so I dont really care about replacing the head lights. **** I could replace them 4 times and still be below book value for the car.

Does anyone have a diagram of how the original are wired at least. I dont have a multi meter right now and even if I did it would still take some guess work to figure out exactly how to wire these since I never got to see the original setup.

You bought this at a DEALER? If this is the case, MOST DEFINITELY go back and tell them to put the freaking HID's in the car....that is totally unacceptable. If they refuse, call the corporate headquarters!

He bought the car knowing that this was an issue, how's that the dealers fault? It's not like he was lied to. They probably really were stolen.

I dont care I bought the car knowing that the lights were not stock but the car is in amazing condition and fully loaded with not a scratch in the paint or any wear in the leather with carpet that looks like it was never stepped on for $15,000. I didn't care about having to replace the lights.

So other than ***** at the dealer, can anyone help me?

Sorry for bringing this back from the dead guys. My friends lights got stolen last week and since money is tight, he had no choice but to buy the ebay Projectors.

I've managed to get the low beams and High beams wired so he can atleast drive at night, but I'm going to need a wiring diagram to get the turn signals and everything working correctly.

Anyone have a writeup on installing the Ebay Projectors?

Thanks

Luis

Ok guys, I got the wiring diagram from a friend, so I should be able to do wire the turn signals now.

The only problem I'm having now is that the 10amp tail light keeps blowing and the driving/cluster lights go out aswell. I switched it to a 15amp and it does'nt blow.

Do you guys think the halogen lights draw more power than the Hid's causing the fuse to blow?

I check all the wiring, and there's no power wires grounding so I don't the there's a short.

I would like to say you CAN make those eBay projectors look & function alot better than OEM for less $$$ if you do some research and spend some time with them.
