What are the differences between a I35 and a 2002 se maxima? Are parts interchangeable like exhaust, CAI, Hid Bulbs? Any help would be great!

I bought a 2002 Se from a local carmax store and I had a few problems with the car and upon looking deeper into some of them the local carmax found a little damage on the frame and they want to buy the car back from me and let me buy another car from them. I can't find another Max from them with low enough miles. I found a 04 6speed but it has 26,000 miles on it and I have also found 2 2003 I35 with 9 and 14,000 miles on them for the same price. I was just wondering what to do.

 

IMO, the I35 is nicer looking than the 5.5G. Particularly because it has a JDC Nissan Cefiro look. But the powertrain mods are all the same between both.

Sidenote: The two local Infiniti dealerships near me are working HARD to unload the new I35s on their lots. I'd almost recommend going to an Infiniti dealership and seeing what kind of deal you could get on a new one.

 

I doubt the cramax place would refund all your money unless you take them to court...but i would do as F23A4 said
