Cattman or Stillen?

I wanted to know what the real differences if any between the Cattman Y pipe n the Stillen one? I used to have a cattman (never installed it) and I noticed it was straight while the stillen (I have that now going to install it) is kinda curvey. Does that make a difference? As for sound I have a greddy evo 1 exhaust system, so how will it sound? I don't wanna lose the throaty noise. Anyway let me know!

Thanks!

cattman: stainless steel
stillen: ceramic coated mild steel or aluminized steel (IIRC)

the design will be nothing noticeable in performance

As you will notice later the resonator on the Greddy is small. I just ordered a mid/B-pipe from cattman for its big *** resonator. I'm only stating this because I have a Y-pipe installed and It is loud and ricy w/ the greddy.

On another note. I've never heard anyone complian about Cattman parts. I hear a few from Stillen in general. Many say that it is not worth the extra cash. But that is for you to decide. I say Cattman.

well i didn't exactly pay for either pipe, right now I have the stillen, I sold the cattman because it was pointless to keep 2 pipes lol.. I just wanted to see if the stillen was any different because of it's design. Thanks..

Cattman: Stainless piping with mild steel flanges. They may have updated their design on the flanges but they used to be mild steel.

Stillen: Were offered in two flavors - ceramic coated mild steel and 409 stainless steel. 409 is not bad, it just turns a gold/brown color when it's heated. It's 90% as good as 304.

In my oppinion, the Cattman is probably a better bang for the buck. (Us smaller companies gotta stick together!)

I say Cattman, but I'll say more after my y-pipe gets here and I've actually installed it... but with all the Orgers' opinions on Cattman, ya can't go wrong....
