Show us some proof they're not stolen (link to finished auction) and maybe then someone will help you.

I don't think you'll get too much help with this even though you mentioned you bought them off ebay (btw most stolen HID's are listed on ebay genius)

I also need the link to the writeup. Mine were purchased off of a org member (Bsetiawan) so they ARE NOT stolen. Any help would be appreciated since these things are collecting dust sitting in my room.

no offense but those lights look pilfered...one of the lights clearly has the mounting clip broken off (drivers side)...and its one of the top ones...the other light (passenger side) has a crack in the mounting clip as well....

btw,

Patterson is exactly where one of my brothers lost 2 sets of headlights...

When I installed my hids, the mounting tabs were fine. When I screwed them down they cracked at the ends. Just because it has a crack doesn't mean it STOLEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't trust any HIDs for sale unless I personally know the car they're being taken directly from or if they are coming direct from Nissan. People who post bragging about what a deal they got on their stolen HIDs like this loser need to be dealt with.

i bought mine from an org member. they were in immaculate condition. i along with pics, pm'd 10 orgers and no one helped me. so i figured it out myself. i had a very generic color wiring diagram and that's all. i suggest you figure them out yourself. i am only going to give-up my how-2 if you buy them NIB

Here's a little hint. You'll need these wiring harness

http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...de=24009-A33HK

and 2 mounting clips which are located under each headlight assembly.

Soooo, if it was "side swiped", then how could a top tab on the HID be broken? I've got a couple of problems with used HID's for sale on eBay;
1.) Why are they for sale? Unless the car is totalled, the lights would stay on the car, and the car would be repaired. If the lights were destroyed in the accident, then there is nothing to sell.
2.) If the car was totalled, I'm not sure they are going to let the owner strip
off all the parts to sell them on eBay. That's what wrecking yards do when
they get the car, after it's been written off as totalled.
1.)Assuming #1 and #2 are accurate, then where did the lights come
from? Not too many choices left. Stolen, or the driver wanted to upgrade
from HID's to.........................what, those rejector deadlights? I don't
think so!!!!
As you can see, when we see or hear about someone selling a HID light on eBay, with broken tabs (as most thieves rip out the lights, breaking the tabs off), we will assume that they are stolen, everytime, no doubt about it!!

That's where I got mine, brand new in the box. I think I may have been one of the first org members to buy these HID's. They are awesome.

This eBay HID topic is getting old... I feel like I see a new thread like this every other day... if ya do get some HIDs off eBay and wanna know the wiring or whatever, just be prepared for the bickering like we're seeing here...

As for constructive advice.... sorry, got none... I know, this is a useless post by me.. +1 on the post count!

I know of autobody places that sell lights. If the car was in an accident and lights were either cracked or scratched, the insurance company would tell the autobody place to replace them...and if they were in somewhat good condition...They were either sold privately or Ebay...as for the tabs...those are the cheapest pieces of plastic i've ever seen. I cracked one of mine (pratically off) just tightening the light down one day. Now thats some thin *** plastic..
