a freiend of mine said he had his car Tuned after he had a bunch of mods put on to the car, and said by getting the car tuned it now has amore power and is more responsive, also told me you must get a car tuned after you put alot of mods on your car so the car knows they are there. Is this true and where can us Maxima owners go to get our cars tuned ? btw he has a worked up civic.

we have self-learning ECUs on our cars. But you can do the reset procedure and they will "learn" your new mods faster.

lol, "Tuned" is a very general term... sounds like more BS coming out of a Civic owner

how exactly do I reset my ecu to learn my new mods. I ordered headers and already have an intake. So is there a way I can reprogram my ecu once my headers are installed?

If you live in southern cali you can go to Technosquare in Torrance and have them reflash your ECU and dyno tune your car. Their reflash changes the fuel map, ignition timing map, removes speed limiter, and raises redline. If u live too far away you can send in your ECU and they will reflash it, but its not as good as dyno tuning.
