Plugs

After 83K of hard driving I guess its about time to buy new plugs.

Any reason to buy anything other than OEM?

Best place/price to buy?

Some like the Denso Iridiums, but I would stick with the OEM NGK's since they perform just fine. DaveB listed in the FAQ parts section is a good place to get your Nissan parts. Good price and fast delivery.

Nice Max! I was wondering what mine would look like with the clear side markers. Any other mods?

LOL i just posted about the same thing and then saw yours. i've got about 70,000 on my 01 5 speed and was thinking the same thing. i've heard that NGK where some good plugs. I'm looking to do them myself and was trying to find a website or something to help me through it.

We,ve got the same car.... it looks sweet with clear side markers and some hyper white bulbs. The OEM nose cover looks nice on it also. I'll have pics in my sig soon.

The three in the front are easy, but the three in the back...PITA!!

Just be sure to have all the right equipment, however, and you will be fine.

Peace.

Thanks, my link has the mods I have done so far. The only one not listed is the radar detector rewire to the auto-dimming mirror.

The right tools and patience is the key for the rear plugs. On the 02-03 you have to take off the intake manifold to get to the rear plugs. Did that about four weeks ago, what a royal pain.

i strongly recommend you stay with OEm replacements. i have chaged the plugs 3 times, and after tryin diff ones, i ended getting the stock ones. there is a how-2 in the how-2 sticky.

gook luck
