here is a write up for the 4th gen here i used this the first time and it took me about an hour. it goes much quicker after you have run through it. i used ngk coppers because they $1.59 each. they supposedly burn hotter than the oem plats but have a shorter life. i change mine once a year.

thanks for the reply sloppy. i just called a few of my friends that work in the automotive feild. they just told me that they wouldn't feel right about charging me to change the plugs. they said even if you drive as hard as you do dave (thats me) there good up 100,000 miles. they said the only thing they would change would be the fule filter and air filter. i've now called 4 places 3 out of 4 told me that.

im not knocking anyone else but you couldnt pay me to keep plugs in for 100k miles. i know nissan says they are good til then but many have replaced theirs @ 50k for the first time and had very little life left in them. the fuel filter is supposedly good for life but i replaced mine @ 50k and it full of sediment and junk. just make sure they know the fuel filter is in the tank, not on the firewall like some earlier maximas. i may be a little particular but i feel good knowing the car is running the best it can.

yep, the access is right under the rear seat. you may want to give them a heads up just they dont end up charging more in the end when they realize that it is a little more labor intensive.
