So i have plsted about my ses light being on and having a bog down at about 3500 rpms.

but tonight the ses light wasn't on when i started my car...so i shifted from first at 5k rpms and when i get second i was pushed into the back of my seat and the front end was swearving cause my tires were only spinning(it was a little wet).

OMG am i satisfied with this car. I have no mods and i already love the power.

 

any idea of what it was?

 

well my dad passed that car down to me and he told me that he knew what the SES light was on for and he said it was something aboutt he emissions. not sure what but thats what he told me. emissions. anyone know lemme know cause i wanna keep it this way for awhile

 

emissions could be alot of different things though.

 

lol, could be an 02 sensor or a cat

 

those could be major problems

 

i am 99% positive that it is not a major problem because he had it checked out everytime and it was always the same. I am pretty sure he had it fixed when it originally happened but it came back on and when he got it looked at again there wasn't a problem because it was for the same thing.

 

mine is one for an emissions control unit. its that black box thing to the left of the spare tire well there is a flap in there and mine i guess is stuck open to vent gas fumes so i have been told by nissan..$500 to fix the problem

 

yeah i got the same thing with the black bo.x appereantly the 96 one has a different construction inside than the 2k2.
