I've got 19's on my Max, and they look awesome. 20's would look very good IMHO. Just watch the weight, as 20" chrome rims are going to be very heavy
(unless you get forged wheels. which are $$$$), and will actually reduce performance. As for the air ride suspension, go for it!! What other mods are you considering?

most to really all people on this board aren't into BLINK including me. 20' look rediculous on a max IMHO, but do what you want. The air ride is going to ride like **** and I would much rather get some lighter rims with coilovers.

I can tolerate 20's if they're not chrome. And go with some coilovers instead of airbags. I'm just not into ghettoing a Maxima. just my .02

20s will make your car look way wrong. 19 is as much as you should go. Plus you might rub with 20s.

I never understood why people are so set on changing the rims on a Max. Nissan's 5 gen rims are really awesome and I love them -- and the 6th gen only got better. The only reason I'm changing mine is because of performance reasons. Once the winters roll around, the stockers go back on.

Hey we were all starting out as some point. He wanted another opinion on this issue.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a newb too, having only been here since April this year.... I was merely making a general, but related, statement about the discussions of several threads this week... sure, it was sarcastic... but it was not directed specifically at the originator of this thread. If you look further up, you'll see that I had initially posted a very neutral comment to his specific question.

I don't want to start any OT discussions on this thread, so PM me if you'd like to talk about this further.

20" chromes = a bunch more rotational inertia = slower maxima

It'll look nice, but it won't get you anywhere faster....

No, he wants assurance that a bunch of anonymous people approve of what he wants to do. Obviously he's looked into it at least a little so now he's hoping hundreds of people reply "dO iT 20s LoOkZ mAd TiTe Yo" instead of making up his own mind.

He didn't ask which suspension, which 20s, where to get it installed, he asked if he should do it and I'll say it again, "It's your money, why are you asking a bunch of strangers what you should do with it?"
