Serious Question

sorry i meant Sirius question. i want to get sirius sat radio. since this is a maxima forum, can someone who has sirius installed show me a few pictures of where they have them mounted.

i tried to search first, but for some reason that feature is disabled.

btw this is my first post, just purchased my max on friday. woo hoo

all ya'll folks with 5th gens and no one has picks of their sirius setup?
or is it cuz i'm new and no one wants to talk to the new guy?

no thats what forums are for,to help people with questions whether theyre new on the block or not. but you might wanna try posting that question in the A/V electronics forum, you might get an answer there....unless no one has that set up or pics of the set up.

I bought a new headunit and installed a sirius tuner in the trunk, but I'm thinkin you're lookin for the one with the dock where you can detach and take it with you?

I installed the head unit in the center console, the antenna on the trunk deck close to the rear window. Some guys are mounting the head unit on the dash, I decided to go stealth. It heats up a little if you're blasting but under normal volume works fine (I just lift the console top for a while to cool it off). Good luck!
