PO306 code on 2K SE 5spd-need help

My friend is having some problems with his 2K SE 5spd. The car is throwing a PO 306 code, and my friend had replaced a 6th cyl coil for 3 times and replaced a spark plug 1 time, but the damn thing would throw in the code again and the car shakes like a tree.

What do you do if the 6th coil keeps going bad, is there something contributing to this?

they redesigned the coils in 01 to prevent this problem from re-occurring, maybe your friend didn't buy the newer design, or maybe you have a bad injector... just the one cyl? three times?

crazy

good luck

He bought this car from an auction like a yr ago (at 45K mi) and it was giving him probs from day 1. Nothing major though. The car was made in 05/00, so its not one of the first ones rolled out from the assembly line. My car was made in 6/00 and knock on wood, never had a problem, and I'm the original owner.

Yeah, he replaced the coil 3 times, and it keeps reoccuring in the same 6th cylinder. My friend is so upset then he is thinking about selling his ride and getting an 05 Accord cpe V6 6spd. Going to a dealer is the last resort and is likely to cause $$$$ repair...who knows.

you don't have to get the repairs done from the dealer. just get it diagnosed
