I think if you really like the car then 19k should be the most you should offer.

Five people already told you it was NOT a good deal because it's NOT a good deal. You're going by what you want...think with your wallet and you'll do better.

He either needs to come down $4k or you need to decide if it's worth it to you to blow an extra $4k when you don't need to. The choice should be clear.

...........but I bet you buy it for $22,900 and think you got a good deal. 2:1 odds, who's in?

He is gonna lose money? HAHAHA, I bought my 03 accord fully loaded w/ 16k miles, V6, NAVI, leather, fully loaded for 19,200 out the door, NADA retail on it was 24k. We all know Honduhs hold their value

Dealers think people are idiots I guarantee they didn't give more than 15-17k for that car.....

In addition to the fact that $23,000 for the car is , the dealer is almost implying that 4 new tires is worth about $4,000... just walk man, you can find an 02-03 with less miles for anywhere between $15-18,000...

I must be getting old. How is it that an 18 year old can even consider purchasing a $20k car?

Tell him screw the new tires. You might want to put new wheels on or something. That should bring the price down a good bit as well. You know they aren't going to put very nice tires on there.
