Paul Stauffer's bar arrived today, so I snapped a few pics:

3rd pic... right above the instructions (it's wrapped up).

Paul,

I'm not in the DC area, but I have little or no knowledge about cars and I installed that same exact bar on my 2k SE without a problem. It's very easy and should only take about 2 hours max - jack stands are a big plus.

Okay. I'll give it a shot on Saturday. In the directions they say that it may be necessary to move the ABS line out of the way. Did you move it?

Don't need to move the ABS lines... it's pretty simple.

Oops. Misworded that. The directions say something about an ABS line cover, which may have to be moved out of the way temporarily. They recommend removing the rear wheels. Is that necessary. Any other pointers?

I removed the rear wheels... made life much easier. I don't know how you would get behind the wheels without removing them (maybe if you have it on a lift you can get to them, but I'm assuming you're doing it in your garage). Pointer: follow the instructions and you shouldn't run into problems.

Good luck Paul!

Ive seen this bar on a 4th gen car....It looks sweet from the rear! The looks alone make it worth it, IMHO. What do these cost for the 2k Max's?

Check out my site... I believe I have some shots of it mounted (pics are from the rear... a bit under the car so you'll see the muffler and bar.

madmax2k: If you buy from Stillen, it'll cost you $227.
