Anybody have Illuminas & H&R springs & getting noise FROM rear?
every slight bump or imperfection in road there is noise from rear. its a squeaky noise basically. its getting annoying, anybody know how to fix this or is this a bad strut/spring combo?
i knew i should of stayed with my D2 coilovers

I think it's your bump stops. It may need to be cut or greased with WD-40(in which the shock shaft meets the bump stops and makes contact). It sounds crazy, but it works for me.

I got my H&R's and Illumina's installed last week, and there is NO noise whatsoever, front or back. I watched them get installed, and they reinstalled the spring isolators (the sleaves that slide over the bottom of the coils to eliminate noise as the suspension moves), are yours back on? Also, they trimmed the bump stops by one row (I'm not sure that this would cause any noise issues if not done, unless you somehow bottom out going over rough roads, bumps at high speed, etc)

If not, that would be my second bet (a heavy impact will compress the shock, potentially causing impact with the bump stop). I've got the same H&R/Illumina setup that you have, and I have NO noise at all, not even on the roughest roads.

I have the same issue on the rear passagener side. It scraps the wheel well. Over simple bumps..I think i have the setting at 1 all around..should i go 2 3 or something stiffer or will that make it worse..Man H&R are so high in the fronts man..anyways let me,,,do i need to do bumpstop stuff..
