5.5 Gen SUPERCHARGED auto ...

im thinking about supercharging my car, maybe boosting at 8 psi i dont wanna go to highh, but just wondering does anyone here have a 5.5 gen supercharged and what can the car do 1/4 mile ?i dont want to spend alot of money to get high 1/4 mile times, i mean if the car does decent 1/4 mile times like high 11's low 12's ill be happy, but high 12's i dont think its worth it since with a couple of mods we can hit mid 13's . any ideas ?... mods whilch will come in the summer will be valvebody mod, tranny cooler, headers, catback, ts ecu, already have cai. got the money saved for all this, just wondering if i should go supercharged.

The point of my post was to tell him to get some information...who is making it? What are they making? For which car are they making it? He read the article, find it and post it. If he's in a class right now then say "I'm in a class now and I'll find it later when I'm out."

I threw in the grammar edits for free. I wouldn't reply *just* to do that but since I was replying anyway, I couldn't resist

that avatar fits you well, 2k2kev.

if i do anything to my car performance wise it would be a blower. other than that i'm happy with the power i've got, so i too am waiting on a kit to come out. these turbochargers for $6000 don't appeal to me when i've installed the whole setup fuel, cooler and pipes, intake, exhaust and turbo on my supra for under $1500

FYI, the next generation polce cars are the Dodge Magnum & Chrysler 300's.

The Impala and Crown Vics are not being made anymore after 2005.

Listen here, I didn't that I needed to be an english major to post threads and replys on the org. Infact I don't see that anywhere in any rule and regulations on the Org. As for me being in a class I wasnt, I was in my bedroom after a 12 hour work day trying not to fall asleep.

Further more, I dont thing that this is your thread and I dont think that you have right to tell me how to post something. Mind you i would accept fed back if it was offensive but for grammer......Pull your head out of your @$$. Your comments are not appreciated nor welcome.

1500 bux for a SC ? man if you show me a USED SC for 1500 bux for my 3.0L I will buy it right now. I guess ya have not checked the prices on blowers. Its not 1500 for a KIT which will work, its ALOT more. If I had a 3.5L I would make a blower work on it, off a 350Z. But I don't really like blowers, or 3.5s.

I saw it mentioned somewhere in the thread, around all of your grammatical corrections.

From what I've seen in this thread, for a 35 year old you act very immature. If something doesn’t apply to you, you don’t have to post a reply. You’ve been on the Org since 2001...You should understand how things work.

Have a good holiday everyone.

i was simply comparing the costs of my hand built turbo setup on my supra to that of the turbo maxima's. the difference is amazing to me when the same work is essentially entailed, thus making a price tag of $6000 not feasible. and seeing as a stillen supercharger kit retails around $3000 im shooting around that price range when its available- which undoubtedly will be eventually.

your bolt ons dont make you an engineer or fabricator. do some custom work first then you can get props, because before that anyone can have what you've got.

I would love to go supercharged. I have done plenty of research and have found nothing. If i'm not mistaken the G35 has the same kinda setup under the hood as the max so we should be able to use the same supercharger. I am sure that some fabrication will be necessary but it may be feasable. Maybe even using the 350z supercharger. Just things to think about.

This is particularly funny to me. This "correcting" is something I get on to people about as well. You are applauded 2k2kev.
