Extended Warranty

Hi Folks,

My car currently has 37.7K miles, and therefore out of bumper-bumper warranty.

I am considering this coverage from warranty direct:
http://www.warrantydirect.com/warran...securecare.asp

-- for an additional $100 approx...i can get extra emissions coverage, totally about 1600 for a 4yr/100,000 coverage.

-- is this form of warranty sensible, worth it?
-- any related experiences, recommendations?

cheers - Noela

Warranty direct is pretty good...they covered everything that went wrong on my 94 Audi A6...
But I would suggest you ask your service people at your dealership who they would recommend.

I have an extended warranty through them but have yet to use it. Thus far, I totally regret spending all that $. But my '03 has been totally dependable and I haven't had a chance to test their service yet.
