Thanx...

I've asked the same thing before... but for 6 speeds... not sure what you have.... anyways... my conclusion was that nothing looks as good as stock or close to stock.... at least for the 02 6 speed.....

Another thing... if you have a 6 speed... the bottom collar of the shift **** must allow enough room for the reverse lock ring to come up for ya to get in reverse gear..... other than that, there shouldn't be any problem.... if ya have an auto... then pretty much any **** should fit, since I understand there are no buttons on the auto shifters....

If you're going to replace the **** for a 5.5, you need a **** that leaves enough space for the reverse lock to come up. Momo only makes a couple of these, usually listed as euro or BMW *****.

Also, if you're going to unscrew your stock ****, make sure to use vise grips to hold the stick itself so that little to no torque is place on the shifter. Use a strap wrench over a t-shirt covering the stock **** so you don't damage the stock ****.

good luck.

I've got an 01 5-speed, and the shifter is pretty bland, and of course, no reverse collar.

Cool... not quite my thing... but I'm sure it'll look good... I personally like the MOMO Sphere in black leather or aluminum...
