Motor mount installation ?

I was wondering if the two side (trans and motor) mounts could hold the motor in place long enough to replace the front and rear mounts?

how did you know your motor mounts were bad? I think one of mine may be going because the engine idles slightly rough and my exhaust sems to move a lot under acceleration.
