Videos of trunk camrea in action!(day & night) AND pics of my new mods!

I just installed a camera in my keyhole this week. I know a few other people have done this, but they have only posted pics. I took some video's of it so you actually see the quality of it in the day AND night. The file size approx 3.7megs each and you will need QuickTime to view them.

Right click, and save as.

http://members.***.net/chriscouture/Daytime%20video

here are some still pics of the camrea and the screen as well:

more pics of my other mods i installed on my next post...

interesting gadget you got for a rear camera, to me too much distraction with the screen on your console. I'll just stick with low tech stuff, the Rear View Mirror.

hahahah... yeah, after my accident with that car, I have been a bit... lazy i guess? i use to clean it almost everyday, but now not so much. plus i am a smoker, so the ashes go everywhere.

thanks for the comments though. and the mod really serves no reason to the average driver, but to me it does. I do not have a rear view mirror due to it falling off, and taking a peice of glass with it. and i do not have a driver side mirror due to the accident, so i only have one mirror left. the camrea helps out a bit in telling if someone is behind me.

Yeah, I do dig the blue dash lights. And the monitor install looks seemless from what I can tell.

I went from a B15 Sentra to my 2003 Maxima. I thought I was just imagining things when I couldn't get the Maxima to turn around without backing up halfway through the turn...

thanks man. that is the factory plastic piece for the tv, but i had to cut into and fiberglass, and putty it for it to work. it took me about 5 days to complete it, but i think it came out pretty good for a 1st try. there are some things i could do diffrently if i were to do it again, but i don't ever want to do a project like that again... too time consuming.

haahahha, yea, i figured as much... I highly doubt a 80 yr old would put rims and a body kit on his car.. lol. I hear ya on the age part... i worked darn hard for my car, no one gave me a red cent to help me out, so they can say all they want, but it doesn't change anything. unlike some people that their moms and dads just give them nice cars. but either way, thats cool.

thanks for the comments... you guys can check out my car domian for more pics, also for the install of the tv as well.

thanks man, I like it too for the most part. It is a big muffler... a bit bigger then i like, but i got it used for a darn good price, so i couldn't resist. the rear valence helps offset the size of it.

Yeah, I love mine... something about the single tip look that I love, although it might have to go once I install my y-pipe cuz it might be too loud for my liking... and I am thinking about the rear valence to cover it up a little as well...

Wait you have a problem with those Magnets??? If so, you can promptly find the nearest Boarders north or south, please don't let the door hit you in the A$$ on the way out.
Pathetic that someone thinks that supporting the troops is a fashion statement.

thank you frosty, I was not going to waste my time to write a response to such a stupid commnet that he made... you wrote it for me!

if people don't like it, then they can bite me. I care about our troops, and i love my country. I know it takes away from the overall look of my car, but I don't care.

likewise. my Y-pipe is in the mail... should arrive either today or tomorrow... Hopefully it is not really loud and ricey. I can't wait for the added HP though. I am running out of bolt on performance mods. booo.

yeah, I dig it all. I just put my Pioneer camera on and I can see almost 180 degrees. When a car in the other lane is passing me I can see the front of it in my front passenger window and the back of it on my screen No more blind spots!!!! I was gonna get the keyhole camera bc it honestly does look better than mine. But I went for the Pioneer bc it has a wider angle and I can adjust where I want to point it. Your max looks better with the magnets anyways. When your loved ones are over there you realize the magnets (regardless of how many people have them) actuallly mean a lot. Well they do to me, every single time I see one.
