I heard that the ride on 18" rims on a 00' or 01' maxima feels like sh*t. I am in the process in getting some rims and tires. What do you guys recommend I get? Like rims and tire size. Thanks

18's will ride a little harsher than 17's...for 18" rims you want to get 18" x 8" wide at least and for 17's you want 17" x 8" wide. For tires, you can use 235/45/17 for the 17's or 245/40/18 for the 18's. these sizes will be close to stock...

it's a matter of preference...Do you want better handling instead or a softer ride? The 18's will handle better than the 17's, but the ride may be slightly harsher. Though, the ride with 17's is already a bit stiff..

actually on 18" wheels you need a 235/40 instead of a 245/40

Thanks, I am in Tenny(Tennessee). Yup my car has the Eibach prokit springs on it! That was the first mod I did, I can honestly say that the car looks good lowered on factory 17".

Why, yes they are bright! The get brighter and brighter each time you don't tell the truth! Yeah, the did cost a pretty penny, they were somewhere around 690.00 a wheel and 282 a tire. you do the math! No, they don't rub at all and it hapens to be a 19x8.5.
