Wow, I wish my butt was cold! Just kidding! Not much use for heated seats here in Hawaii. Can you believe it's December already and still 80+ degrees outside?!

Sorry Twillin, didn't mean to to get OT. I don't have heated seats in my Max, so I can't really help too much. But if the psgr seat and backrest work, but only the backrest works on the driver's side, I would take an ohm meter and meter the heater in the driver's seat cushion. If there's juice( 12V) at the heater, then you know that either the heater is dead, or something's up in there. If there's no juice going into the heater, then you'd probably have to trace the wires back........oh, gotta go, there goes another bikini girl. Just kidding! If you try it and just can't figure it out, you may have to check an electrical repair shop. Good Luck!

I never undestood why people care about heated seats. That's the last part of your body that should be cold. As long as my hands are warm, the rest of me is too.

I agree.

Besides: why do you even own a car there? I thought you guys surfed to work! The rest of us over here on the mainland have to rely on the Swimsuit issue to get us through till June!

Yesterday morning on the way to work my dash read 3, yeah a whole 3 degrees, this morning was a bit of a heat wave at 7 degrees. . . And this afternoon has been a balmy 27 degrees.

Believe it or not, I actually do wish I lived in freezing cold weather. I guess since I've only been in snow for maybe 2-3 weeks total in my lifetime, it's something new and different. I'm planning a skiing trip with my family for next year, but until then, I'll just have to chill out in my grass shack and surf all day! LOL! JK!

if both the light and the lower part are not working, it might be the switch. swap the switch for the passanger side with the driver side and see if it works.

I'm sorry your post turned into a tard fest, I would go with the suggestion to use a multimeter, always an easy way to eliminate circuit problems.
