I have no idea, but should start reading the threads in the All Motor section.

andyman;

yea someone did this, read more about it on maximaracing.org.

They managed to stroke it to a 3.3 litre, but it had compression issues, and of course he couldn't run boost in addition to that.

For the 3.0, for moneys worth, the vortech is the best bet. It would see more power (and practical power) anyways, I think that's a waste of effort and time.

If your heart was set on a 3.5, u can always trade up, but i wouldnt complain with the 3, cuz i'd focus on a boost setup.

Well too bad your engine will not die (unless you harm the car and beat the sh%$t out of it),Belive me our engine so strong it will not die.

So you stuck with 3.0 engine for now ,Go trade in for 3.5 if you realy need more power.

The 3.3L was using the 3.5 crank and it does not work. The piston will or come extremely close to hitting the head. It is not worth it.

People have used the 3.5 block and internals and 3.0 heads but not 3.5 heads and 3.0 block that I know of. It would lower your compression and you would not have the VTC unless you swapped in the harness and ECU, which you should just do the whole engine swap if you do that. There is talk about using the 3.5 pathfinder heads since they may be closer to the 3.0 but will lower compression for boosting purposes. You can always try it. Just try to research a little.
