Pulled 4 Codes last night...

Maxinxs had the code reader and it showed 4 codes(cleared for now) 1)bank 1 sensor 2...2)bank2 sensor 2 and i don't know what the other 2 were(forgot to write them down). My car is running great though. and no I am not going to avoid them.

Ahh the dreaded 140 and 160. Going in tomorrow morning to get mine all fixed up. Poor Max has been running with only 2 sensors for the past 2 months. I finally have the time.

Well I have one sensor welded on the b-pipe and the other welded on the header y-pipe. Could that be my problem? Then I have the other 2 codes that I need to worry about.

Ah. Well, how long have you had the y-pipe on? If you just put it on and the codes came on, then it's most likely nothing -- always happens. If it's been on for a while, your sensors are most likely dead.

Hmmm, I'd say then there's something wrong. Also, I think when the SES flashes like that, your coils may be going too.

Right, I understood that. If it comes on for a few days and goes off for a few days or weeks, then it's usually a case of coils about to go bad (based on what I've seen people experiencing here).

A couple of hundred for sure. First, diagnose the problem and make note of what codes you pull. Then look them up.
