how does this eclipse go against the maxima auto?? both auto... eclipse with v6 200hp... sounds good.. but im not sure if i kan take my homie..

 

Should be no problem... it's the 5 spd us autos have to worry about. I've taken one before.

He tried to cut in front of me about a mile away from the exit on the freeway. I saw him take off and I immediately floored it. He kept up for a while, but to my surprise, I easily walked him (had Jane in the car). I doubt I would have done that to the 5 spd.

Glad to hear that the max can kill the eclipse no prob cuz my friend is goin to get one in a month(auto) and i have auto too....he keep sayen he'll race and kill me but i keep telling him to dream on....well well well, i'm glad to here that i have nothing to worry about.

If he is stock and so are you, both auto's, you should hang with him. I did on a manumatic V6 eclipse before. I wonder how I'll do with the Intake? I guess I should go race Greg again.

Just want to let you know that I took out a 5spd. Eclipse GT. Although, I did have a few mods, while the Eclipse was stock. Yes, I beat it, but it was closer than I thought. Just imagine if it had mods. And it was a girl that I raced. Afterward, even she said to me, "just wait until I put a few mods on my car." I said, "ok, rematch when you get the mods?" She agree, since we both go to the same school. Very cute girl btw.

 

My friend here has a 2000 Eclipse (the V6 version) in 5 speed. Its quick, but I have no problem keeping up. I haven't had the heart to tell him that I've been shifting at 5500 and not at my peak HP
