I also have a 6spd and have not made a decision and waiting to hear more results(more positive though about HP sts). I'm just wondering why you guys at TWM are not answering some of the important questions faster or just answering them. Also would it be a problem to send out just one to Harvey, (hct67) since it appears he was the one requesting TWM to make the sts for the 2002-2003 Maximas. I am not implying that you folks were not planning to make one. It didn't sound as though he was asking for a free one. It could have a positive result for your sts and for others looking to buy one in the future. Thanks, Ed.

Damn they lowered the price, I definetley plan to order a TWM next week will probally do the install next weekend. I will let you all know how it goes. I realize I am a "nobody" and my review "won't carry much weight" but somebody needs to test these they went through the work to make these for our cars and I plan on thanking them for that. I swear the maxima community cares less for its vendors than any other auto community I have ever been a part of. See you next week.

Hi Guys,

Sorry for not responding sooner. Harvey, I did get your e-mail and I'll get back to you a little later today.

As for the function of our shifter, basically it is shaped along the same contour of the stock actuator to allow for the most solid mounting possible. It does not replace the actuator but installs very cleanly directly on top of it.

We are working on a **** right now and hope to have one released soon. The **** will be act as a counterweight during shifting and will provide a much more solid, smooth shift action.

I'm always available to answer any questions and I'll get back to Harvey and Triplle8sol very shortly.

Thanks and feel free to contact me any time.

Karel

That's a pretty strong statement. IMO we care quite a bit about vendors, mainly because aftermarket parts are not plentiful for Maximas. What are the other auto communities that are so much more vendor friendly?

I'm glad they have lowered the price. At $200, it was very overpriced, IMO. With the current pricing, I'm sure they will sell more. Please let us know what you think of yours. It will be good to compare the TWM reviews with the HP Autoworks.

Thanks Karel, My shifter the HP STS is very notchy and not weighted correctly so if you can come out with a **** along with the STS it would be a dream for sure. Appreciate your help and look forward to using the product!!!!
