question for the H-tech owners

i want to get some springs soon and i was wondering if you guys ever regret having these.. would you rather have gone with the s-techs? is the gap in the front still too big? im debating on between s-tech or h-tech, please help me guys, im getting the illuminas for the struts, so if you have these set ups, it would be even better, thanks!!

i have h-techs with tokico blues....it's a nice drop which still keeps a nice ride. personally, i would have liked to drop lower though....still about a 1" gap, maybe a little bit more. overall, i'm happy with them though.

i like it, i dont have to angel bumps and crap like everyone else.....i too would like a little more drop in front, but ONLY front and not the back at all. im also on 19's so the ride is a little more harsh than my 16" GLE suspension. I think it depends on what kidna area you drive, what you use your car for, and what your lowering your suspension for. If your iuse your car to transport people at times, s techs are goign to be super low and not good with all that extra weight. If your lowering your car for handlling and dotn care about carrying people s-techs will be good, but you have to be careful about driving. If your doing it to get rid of that nasty gap and also get much better handling then h-techs are good. I personally have the illuminas and h-techs, what your planning on getting. i like them for my purposes.....daily driving has not changed, handling is great, and gap is mostly gone, i would only like .5-.75 inches more in only the front. but teh 1.5/1 drop is a godo combo.

the difference between s-tech and h-tech is .6 inches front and rear. do you think these are too low? im leaing towards the s-techs, cuz most people have them, but i might regret getting these if theyre too low. i think h-techs should be good enough, what do you guys think?

I have the H-techs with Illuminas. Not too bad. The drop is nice. Maybe another half inch up front only that would be it.

aren't the H-tech performance oriented and the S-techs more for looks. I hope so because I am buying the h-tech KYB setup in another month or so. I want performance handling. I drove a car with S-tech and the thing bottomed out with only 3 people in the car. They are too low if you ask me.

LOL...take it from me - I have had both S-Techs and H-Techs.

S-Techs are miserable pieces of sh*t that rode horribly and bounced around like mad.

H-Techs are much more comfortable, smooth, and with no noticeable difference in handling (other than the car being predictable because it doesn't bounce around all over the place like the S-Techs did). The H-Techs look just as good too.

Pair them with Illuminas and you'll be happy.

From everything I have heard the H-tech is a stiffer spring and the handling is much improved.

Most people tend to claim that the handling on the S-techs is better "because it's lower."

IMO, that's crap. The S-Techs made the vehicle unpredictable, and as such, it handled poorly.

I know my H-Techs handle better than my S-Techs ever did. They're also much more comfortable than my S-Techs ever were (and no bounce!).

I got a pretty good deal at Southwest Autoworks. Call them up and tell them you're a Maxima.org member and they'll give you a better price.
