Consequences of Redline?????

What are the consequences of redlining??? also do u know anything about 350z's getting spacers in their exhaust. Cause my boy put a SPACER not a RESONATER. They cut the exhaust open and Put a lil thing inbetween the piping of the exhaust. I wanna know is it possible to do that in a maxima??

Also are their any advantages to a HI FLOW catalytic converter?

redlining everynow and then is not to bad. as a matter of fact my mechainic recomends romping on the car now and then (cleans it out). i would not do it to much though, have a friend who railed his 2000 max all the time and he threw a rod a month ago....

yes a high flow cat can let the gas flow a little better possibly giving more Hp.

Whats the point of putting in more than one question mark?

For N/A Applications, you'll gain little if any fwtq. The OEM cat is already high flow itself. Can you post a picture of an exhaust spacer vs. resonator? I did an internet search on 'Exhaust Spacer' and the main thing that comes up is exhaust manifold spacer, which has nothing to do with the resonator.

i believe your friend is referring to an exhaust bypass, very popular amongs stang boys. to provide less pressure and more follow, they switch valves so you have a straight through design.
