Water spots on the windows

Does anyone know what type of cleaner I can use to clean old old water stains on my windows. I have tried to use everything and nothing can cut the water stains. It seems that it is within the window!

I know what you are talking about....I had them too when i first bought my car. I used regular car wax. I waxed all my windows once and the stains went away and never came back.

Vinegar can remove many tough water spots that other cleaners can not seem to remove. It sure smells bad while you are cleaning, but it works very well.

The detailers at the dealership I work for use glass polish and fine steel wool. It works very well. They just squirt the polish on the glass and work it around with the steel wool. Buff it off with a towel like you would a wax.

I couldn't stomach using steel wool, so I bought Griots fine glass polish. Took a *TON* of elbow grease, but worked after nothing, ie invisibile glass, soap/water, clay bar, etc, didn't.

Next time, I'll go with the more aggressive glass polish or an orbital buffer to save my arm/neck/back.
