Car starts very hard (?)

I've had my 2000 Max for a few months now. When I first purchased it, it would start up as smooth as can be. Lately, it's been sounding very loud when I crank it up and no it's not the cold weather because we have none here in Austin, TX.

I use Unleaded Plus fuel and I randomly use the carboretor cleaner stuff that you can purchase at the convenient stores. ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Shadow. I'll look into that.
