sorry man I had that same prob when I was trying to fix that rattle. U can take the seatbelt assembly apart to make it retract but its messy in there i wouldnt recommend it I halfway fixed mine it retracted again but now its stuck again so I guess its up to you on how much it bothers you and how many people actually are in you back seat and need the seat belt Good Luck!!

I would go to some autoshop. Doing what maxledking said would be difficult and not so safe. That's if you use the backseat seatbelts.

I had the same problem. I just took my time, kept playing w/ my seat belt and pulled it back out slowly.

Strange, I've never heard of this complaint, nor did I have the problem when I did mine. Did you accidentally install the unit backwards?

BTW - This is one of the best $50 I've ever spent. Bose sounded so much better after the sound deadening was complete.

True. Bass sounds so much more powerful but after a week or two, rattles came back and I can't figure out where's coming from.

Hmmm...Mine still sounds rock solid after a year of listening to the Bose at around 21 - 22. Now my headunit on the otherhand...I just replaced it for the 3rd time in one year.
