HELP! Need Feedback W/Replacing Damaged Cone For Intake!!! NOT MUCH TIME
Hi... kinda in a rush to replace my cone filter for my stillen intake... called Stillen who said it costs $60 w/shipping and would ship in five business days. Do I need to buy Stillen or can i go with something else? If I am able to buy another cone, does anyone have feedback on what I should go with???

Yo Sizzo, you live in new york, there are a lot of performance part palces where you could buy a filter from. Eastern Racing is in Queens near LIE, if you heard of it, or a bunch of other smaller lesser known stores that sell performance parts. You just gotta look for them.

get a walmart filter... i really don't see anything wrong with them. Made by APC but hell, i dont think you'll notice that much of a performance loss.
btw, K&N cleaner would even be cheaper.... jus like what everyone else said.

hey fellas, thanks for all the responses! problem has since been resolved. this is what i did... i went to a local auto parts performace store called Claws here in NYC... they had one generic filter (some name brand??? lol) made with K&N filter material and it looks very much like a Stillen cone... the only difference is that instead of having a metal plate on the shorter end like Stillen does with their logo, there is a vortex shaped dip (picture a volcano)... the guy there was selling it for $65, however, i managed to get away with it for $60 (not a bad price considering Stillen's sells theirs for $60)... so after i bought the cone i jetted back home because my parents needed the car moved from the driveway... i found out that my mom tried starting the car without the cone! but i guess i can't blame her since she wasn't aware... anyway, when i got home i installed it and started up the engine... took the car a bit of effort to start but eventually it got going... the car is running fine now, and as a matter of fact, it seems to have improved acceleration and it sounds great! so... out of this ordeal, i bought myself a pretty decent intake at a local performance shop that i'm extremely happy with (it would have taken five days to receive if i had gone with Stillen's cone) and best of all, my car is running like a champ again! i'd like to thank everyone for all your responses and support. i wish you all a happy and healthy!!
