will my AE knob fit

will my AE **** fit
I ordered the old pacesetter short shift kit from customaxima.com over the summer and haven't put it in. I recently got the anniversary edition shift **** and I was wondering if the AE shift **** will fit on the pacesetter short shifter. I don't want to open the short shifter package if this won't work. If anyone else has this combo let me know. Thanks.

Unscrew the AE **** and try it on the pacesetter short shifter. If it fits, you're golden. Sometimes I wonder if people are sometimes just lazy or not. It's not like you have to take apart an entire transmission to see if it works or not. It's just a ****.

i have this setup and it works fine. i had the same concern when i got the STS because the threads on the STS are much different from stock. but the **** fit right on, the know threads are soft and i guess they just rethread really easily.
P.S. the AE shift **** finish wears off, you may want to put a few coats of clear coat on it before using it. i did not do this when the **** was new but once the finish wore off i did and now it is chrome with the original gate detail in tact.

the finish with lettering: I've remove it all, by scratching carefully with a key! After you get a nice chromed look! Who need gear number anyway
