sorry buddy, but the 01 grill is part of the bumper....

 

so what do u mean i would have to replace the bumper to have like a mesh grille put in?

 

no, youjust have to install it in front of or behind (as I did) the stock grill...

 

ya, pretty much, you'll have to get a 02-03 bumper if u want just a mesh grill or u can put one in front of the stock 00-01 grill

 

ight guys thanks ive decided to put mesh in front of the grill and put eyelids on my headlights

 

DITTO!!!........I don't think the grille is any different from the GXE and the GLE on the 00'-01'

 

00-01 are part of the bumer, 02-03 is a seperate piece =)
