Hi ,I want to get a remote for my 2k max. There are many remotes on ebay. Will those remotes work on my car as long as they are made for 2k-2k1 maxima? Do i have to check VIN number on my car to see if they work fine? thx

 

btw..i'm not sure if my car has keyless entry option when the first owner bought it..

 

The remote will work if they are for 00'-01' that has a balloon shape remote with lock/unlock, panic and trunk. The 02-03' has a different remote. which is rectangular shape with four button downs, that won't work on the 00'-01'
