I think he bought a hyper ground kit, and wants to know where to connect the new grounding wires.

wat year is your maxima? cuz mine is 2k1 and i installed a hyper grounding kit also in my car. but there was no stock wires..just make sure where your battery is being grounded (wire) make sure you attach one of the wires to that same end. Then you really just have to attach other wires from metal to metal. I am going to try to set up pics when i have time this week. so you can use mine as some form of install instructions.

good Lord

see my cardomain page for location of grounds. It's on page 16 or 17 I think....maybe 18 or 19...

you guys have no idea what you're talking about apparently. There ARE factory grounding wires in the engine bay, and some of them are right in front of your faces....the so-called "hyperground" wires are to supplement these undersized OEM wires.

....by the way, you don't just "attach other wires from metal to metal". You should attach the wires to specific parts of the engine that need the supplemental grounding. This includes the battery (duh..), the alternator, the transmission (if you're auto), the engine block (to give better grounding to the coils/plugs), and the headlights...among other places. Just attaching the battery to a bunch of frame grounds won't accomplish anything at all

Take off your engine cover. They are there.

Effective grounding topology is, but it can be simplified if u keep in mind "connect a ground wire to items you want to be at the same potential".

I think a bus-star ( X---X ) hybrid topology would serve best to minimize delta voltages.

whats so confusing about it, you're taking the grounds that are on the frame and connecting them to the negative on the battery....

i got his kit. it is very well made and priced in line with others you could buy. of course you could make one yourself which would be cheaper but you still need to know what to ground and where. Matt includes a link to very good instructions with diagrams as to where to connect each wire and of course it's made to exactly fit your own application as opposed to being some generic kit with lengths of wire you would have to customize yourself.

as far as all the claims... YMMV. i think if you had no problems before, you won't notice much difference but the idea is to bolster the grounding system which is a good idea if you have extra accessories installed.
if you turn on too many things while the car is running, the lights will still dim if the alternator isn't spinning at a high enough rpm, (like in traffic).

i guess what i'm saying is, don't expect anything earthshattering.
