Pull the head unit

Searched the FAQ's and Install threads and did not see this. How or where do I start to remove my factory Bose radio/tape/cd player? I dont see any screws. Do I have to remove that plastic frame around the unit or remove the side panels that go down towards the feet of both driver and passenger? Any help on where I start would be great.

auto or stick? on my stick you remove the screw in the ash tray, then pull everything else out. all held together with clips. and there is definitely a FAQ in here about it...with pictures too...keep looking
