Finally got stillen's new 2001 catalog. In there they have the new front fascia for the body kits. They have to fronts. One replaces the entire front bumper, the other is like the previous spoiler but with more aggressive lines.

Personally I don't like the entire bumper replacement's look. The front spoiler is ok, but I don't know if I'd go with that one either. I'll try to get the pictures scanned so it can be seen, but I don't have access to a scanner right now.

 

In looking at the same catalog, I interpreted the kit was for the Altima (as pictured) and not the Maxima. Was I assuming?

Any new performance mods from 2001 Stillen catalog???come on, we need more performance mods besides just looks...can I say Coil-Over!!!!!!!!!

Not that we don't know of already. No coilovers listed for the max. koni's still aren't listed. HKS exhaust is in there.

Oh, they have some sweet looking leather seats for the max though! But that's about it. guess we'll just have to wait for everything thing else (anything new that is...)

Damn... that first one is UGLY... the second isn't TOO bad, but not as good as the ones that rocketship and kev have. Anyone know if they're still gonna sell the old kit like a few people have? I need to keep saving up for that one...

 

The first one reminds me a lot of Zero's photoshop... is there a secret partnership we should know about?

 

maybe if they were painted they might not look as bad, but with them the way they are ... I think stillen ought to pay me to put it on MY car!

Also in the catalog it says that the center bar for the grille is removable (only problem is, it is "permantly" removable ... so ya better make up your mind what it'll look like before you get the saw out!)

Optional mesh grille is also avialable, so without the center bar and the mesh grille (maybe top and bottom, I don't know) it might look o.k.

Well have to get some drunk (like the stillen designers) and get them to put it on thier car.

Hey maybe they'll take a 1/5 of Jose Quervo as trade (you know from one drunk to another )

ugly stillen kits for our maximas...gosh, just what i expected. There's no more respect for the cars out now, only for those 3 to 4 year old cars have hella ton of mods... Why don't the aftermarket companies concentrate on the cars out now? It would make our lives easier... I LIKE THE NINJA/KAMAKAZE BODY KIT! Mrburner has it on his max and it looks sweeeeeeet.

wow...and i thought they made ugly kits for hondas...this is probably the ugliest body kit i've seen on any car (the 1st one)...it doesn't fit the lines of the car at all...the huge fogs don't fit at all...the 2nd one look ok, but still nothing great...paint would help a lot but the ad they have for my kit isn't painted...but at least it's primered a similar color (maybe stillen is in love w/ that ste eibach maxima w/ 2 tone)...i like the old stillen kit much much more than either of these...yuck

 

those kits are just pathetic to me... i think that stillen wanted performance based kits
