This is pretty awesome, for me since I got black paint which is easy to match, I am now able to touch up those black nasty chips and swirl marks. I will wash my car fully and throughly and rinse it twice with non wax soap. I will then apply the wax twice after I filled in the chip with the chipstick.

This looks promising but it almost sounds too good to be true. I'll believe it when I see it. Having said that, I really hope that it can really do what they claim. Maybe there is hope...

I would not use it if I were you. That is for non-clear coat finishes like most products that do that. Use Zaino if you wish to get rid of your swurls/scratches.

i saw that stuff on an....

info-mercial. the chip stick, but they had a different name for it. this is an old info-mercial, i think i last saw it 3 years ago. they made these huge scratches in the paint of the car, and then fill it in with their version of the chip stick, and rub it down with a cloth. it worked really well for them on tv, but the cars they used had standard colors(red, black, white)and the paint on those cars didn't shine for some reason, i dont understand how that stuff works? i'm guessing that product sucked, thats why its not seen anymore. i suggest you try it on the lower part of the bumper or something, make sure it works. just my 2 cents

I've got a hot flash for ya. The second coat of wax you apply removes the first one - this is common knowledge, ask any detail shop.
Save yourself the energy, do it once and be done with it.

All the scratches in that info-mercial were done with a white wax coloring stick found at any local art store. They can be brushed off with you hand, you don't need that special formulated crap to remove it. Remember when they scratched the key on the hood of the white car? Metal will sometimes leave a dark mark, this is not a scratch. Pots and pans on a white formica countertop for example will leave the same marks. These are very easy to remove. If they would have used an ice pick on the car, THAT would be a scratch.

I love picking these info-mercials apart.

True, most waxes do contain a cleaner that removes the old stuff. But, if you use a wax that is supposed to part of your average "3 step system", those don't usually have the cleaner in them.

does not work!!!!!!!!

It does not work. If you don't believe my buy it from a big store like target or kmart. They dont give you a problem if you want to return it after you tried it. I used the crayon to fill the scratch and then the wax to cover. It did look a little better but did not make the scratch go away. Just use regular wax or have a autobody place buff your clearcoat.

do a search for "stackable polymer waxes" and then modify this statement to reflect the truth.

Zaino builds upon itself and looks better with each coat.....
