Resonator?

hi...i'm new to this whole thing... and i've heard about removing your resonator will help with the sound and performance of your can i dont know how true this is so i'm askin 5th gen owners who have done this or know about it to help me out please....

I havent the slightest clue where you heard that, but your stock resonnator is part of your B pipe (the pipe that goes between the cat and the rear section). You want to increase your performance, get a Y and B from warpspeed or cattman or budget or whoever. Then choose the rear section of your choice. OR you can go ahead and get a cat back (greddy, stillen, apexi, etc...) of your choice with a Y pipe. However, the second you replace the rear section and/or B pipe, get ready for more noise and lots of it. Do this and you should be plenty satisfied with the perf gains and the sound.
