Brake Work

Hi,

Need to do my brakes soon - my accelerating vibrates a bit when i apply brakes, as if the rotors are warped.

I think i have the stock setup - the car has only got 41K, a 2002 SE, and need some improvement over the stock brakes. I don't do racing, auto-x or other hard driving...but do drive a lot of long distance, so need something reliable.

What rotors or pad combination do you recommend? What about any shop or anyone in the washington DC area?

sincerely, Noela

(sorry, cross-posted in the MD/DC regional forum also)

i would say go with brembo brakes .. but brembo doesn make front rotors for 02-03 yet

your next choice is powerslots... and PBR deluxe pads..

contact Automax_95 he has good deals on rotors and pads.. maybe he can help you out

Brembo blank rotors front&rear
Hawk HP pads front&rear
Stainless steel lines front&rear
painted calipers
That's all you need for something that is a little better than stock. Anything more would be overkill IMO.

Your other choice and one of the best are frozenrotors, they will not warp, but they cost about 105each
