cool backlights?

i am the proud new owner of an '02 Nissan Maxima 6spd manual,
and i just was introduced to this site. i can't wait to start the mods

does anybody have any cool ideas for my backlights w pics?? i want to clear out my headlights, front and rear side markers, and my maxima is a deep red, burgundy color. I've seen several different ideas at cardomain, some looked good but nothing i immediately fell in love with. any creative help would be nice.

my friend said maybe to cover the whole light with charcoal... blacken the entire rear light. Has anybody seen this done on the 5th gen? pics?

yeah you can swap for the 00-01 SE tails. They have a blacked out trim and would nice on your Merlot car. Congrats on the car btw
