Throttle Body Info Needed
First of all i am a newb so where is it located? How hard is it to get to? Since i have 71k and i doubt its never been cleaned i think i should clean it. What affects will there be after i clean it? What do i clean it with? Thanks in advance...

I would recommend you not to work with it if you have no idea where it is because you'll have to partially disassemble the intake to do that.
but i'll attempt to explain anyways
looking from the front of the car with the hood open...
-the black hunk of plastic is your intake manifold
-if you look to the right of it where it tapers off into a opening, there is a metal component with two cable wires connected to it, that is the throttle body
-The throttle body then connects to an black accordian piece which connects to a flat looking piece called a resonator with two small and one large line connecting to it
-It then connects to a tube with a sensor plugged into it called the MAF
-The MAF then connects to the stock airbox via 4 bolts

here are the pictures i took for cleaning the throttle body. the best way to clean it is to remove it all together...but you dont have to.

I heard many are using a product call Seafoam but I think the good old hand cleaning might just do it perfectly and looking at soonerfan pics, I'm wondering if polishing the throttle body interior would bring any benefit like less friction or something.

however.........for the fans of seafoam, they also have throttle body cleaning spray
i bought some and will be using it as soon as i can.
