Also ask about woodgrain, especially something like a black marble and/or black cherrywood

15 piece is kinda weak, that is part of the reason it is so cheap. I still might be interested.

hmm im a lil confused

i always thought a MOLDED dash kit was one that replaced your dash, not just stuck on..

it seems this one is just a stick on dash kit cause he says
"Just peel off the protective 3M (double backing tape) strips and apply the pieces."

i might be wrong though, but i think this is just a stick on dash kit

What I read is that it is a combination of molded and flat parts (which are flat). Most molded kits that I have looked into have fewer parts. Some kits have too many parts and are way too busy (look kinda cheap). Also, I believe that most kits are 'stick' on. Price is good if kit is any good but not for 2000/2001. (????)

In any kit, it is a combo of molded and flat peices...the molded parts are the doors and sometimes the center air vent...the remainder are flat.

Be careful. Make sure the kit is real aluminum. I once made the mistake of purchasing a "simulated" brushed aluminum kit. It sucked. Looked was actually just gray plastic with a pattern to give it the "brushed" look. I since purchased a real aluminum kit from Superior for my Trans Am that looks very nice and was only $125.

15pcs is plenty. Anything over...say...20 pieces is just overkill and tacky.

Ok i got this back from the guy who was the seller of these woodview kits.

Hi John,

Thank you for your email message.

I have Woodview's molded kits which are made from synthetic material. I
did
some research and apparently all the molded kits that companies are
offering
are synthetic. Its not possible to mold real wood because it would
splinter. Its not possible to mold aluminum because the material is to
fragile and would get dented.

Woodview's kits are made from orginal OEM grade synthetic materail
which is
made to look like real wood and metal. I attached a couple of pictures
of
the material used to make these kits.

If you order 10 or more kits I offer each kit to you for $75US which
includes shipping/insurance via UPS ground (as long as you are located
in
the US or Canada, if you are located outside Canada and the US your
shipping
charge will be higher). Each kit retails for about $375US to $500US
pending
on the size of the kit. Some kits are a combination molded and flat
while
others are all molded. It depends on which kit you choose.

Please take note all sales are final and kits can not be returned for a
refund. If you have warranty issues let me know because these kits are
warranted for life of the car (with orginal owner) and i'll be happy to
send
spare parts if needed. These kits are brand new so I do not see this
becoming an issue.

For what cars would you like these kits for? If you give me the year
and
brand I can go through my inventory. Hopefully, I have some kits that
will
interest you.

For example I have the following:
99 Ram in American Walnut (DG)
00 Xtera in English Burl (EB)
01 Accord in Black Burl (dark EB, BB)
00 Neon in EB
98 Rodeo in Stainless billet
and lots more!!

I look forward to your reply.

Best regards,
Martin.

75 shipped is awesome!

Funny how I was just going to ask bout molded dash kits this weekend and forgot. I would be interested in the molded aluminum kit, something that is less tacky looking than the CustomMaxima.com kit. 75 bux is a steal ! I'm in 5spd tranny 01 please, with manual climate controll.

yeah i was reading the decription of his auctions, it seems the 5.5 gen kit has flat and molded pieces... im really feeling the dash piece near the shifter... looks sweet! And I hope the side door panel pieces are molded... its kind of hard to see from the auction picture.

molded kits are 100 times better then the flat ones... i have a molded kit, it was synthetic alum but it looked really good... i had a real alum flat kit and it was soo tacky i got pissed and ripped it off. Trust me molded is the way to go.. it looks factory... another option is what i did was buy the molded kit and paint it... looks really good...

It might as well be. What was that one guy with the 40pc flat wood kit? His interior was ridiculous...looked like a fukcing forest.

Would be nice to see actual pics installed on 4th/5th gens, or at least a picture of the specs/layout.

I would be interested in this deal. I am an 01 automatic with auto climate control. I checked these dash kits and the vent pieces are the only flat pieces. This is a great price! I would be in for the molded aluminum kit. What else do we need to do?

You don't want flat piece for the vent. It's ugly. Molded kit will look much better. I like the kit Triple8Sol posted. Maybe we can contact them and get a GD.

Oh I see. Looking at the layout Triple8Sol provided, center vent piece looks molded but left and right vent pieces look flat

No piece for auto shift plate is odd. Every other kit I have seen includes it.
