Insurance rates

I just put insurance on the 02 Max that I am picking up tomorrow and it was $292 for 6 months w/full coverage, road side and $0 comp deductable (just in case the HID's get stolen). I've heard a lot of grumbling about INS rates on these and that doesn't seem too bad.

those are pretty good....just make sure it's a highly reputable company so you don't get shafted down the road when you make a claim.

I'm 29, married, no accidents, and only a couple tix in the last decade, and also have an 00 maxima....I still pay around $400 every 6 months, witha $500 deduct....which is great (USAA) compared to most here...

if you're getting it so cheap, just make sure it's a company that's gonna pay if you need them....With insurance, if it's too good to be true...well...you know...

I'm with state farm and was paying 96/month. I hydroplaned two months ago and hit someone else. My damages and the other vehicles damage was $4477.00. State Farm dropped the collision coverage from my car and gave me 3 points against my insurance. Now, I can't get collision with starm farm and if I did, my premium would increase from 576 to 977. They will only allow me to have liability because of the amount they had to pay out and the time of night I was traveling. I have no tickets and this was my first accident. For crying out loud, I hydroplaned and I wasn't speeding! Will someone please tell me why we even have car insurance????????

My agent even said it was BS. The Corporate office made the decision to give me only partial coverage. The agent called the Corporate Office to explain the situation and they still wouldn't give in.
